Painting with Kansai Premium Interior Emulsion

New Paint

New surfaces must be clean, dry and free from masonry salts.
Remove all defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff brush and dust off. Treat any area affected by mould, lichens, algae or moss with bleach. After priming new surfaces with Kansai Wall Primer, spot fill the uneven surface using Kansai Putty. Use 2 -3 coats of Kansai Putty with putty applicator. Scuff the surface with sand paper and dust off after each coat.

Repaint for Sound Surface

Remove all defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper and dust off. Spot fill the surface with Kansai wall putty and repeat the above mentioned procedure accordingly.

Repaint for powdery, dusty surfaces, cracks & other surface defects

Scrap down all the defective and poorly adhering material by rubbing with suitable abrasive paper or stiff brush. Repair minor defects. For large holes and cracks, use sand and cement mixture. Allow it to dry. Spot fill the uneven surface using Kansai Putty. Use 2 -3 coats of Kansai Putty with putty applicator. Scuff the surface with sand paper and dust off after each coat.

Finishing

After surface preparation, apply 2 or more coats of Kansai Premium Interior emulsion.
